The Branch chamber of the Pulp and Paper Industry (mentioned
below as "Chamber") represents a non-commmercial
association, members of which may be bulgarian and foreign
entities, who perform business activities in the field of
the pulp and paper industry in the Republic of Bulgaria.
The functioning of the Chamber is in conformity with the
current legislation of the country and according to its Statute.
The Chamber is a legal body with headquarters in the town
of Sofia and management office at - "Vazrazdane"
municipality, 17 "Antim I" Str. The Chamber has
its own stamp.
The Chamber acts in favour of the private interests of its
members. The period of existance is not limited in terms and
it can open branch offices.
The goals of the Chamber are: to represent the interests of
its members before the governmental, state and local institutions;
to defend the social and economic interests of its members
and those of the branch as a whole.
The Chamber has no administrative functions. It deals mainly
with problems of mutual interest, outlined by the General
assembly or upon assignment of its members in compliance with
the Statute.
The Chamber realises its tasks with the following means: it
undertakes initiatives and participates in the development
of pprojects for legislative acts, related to the branch;
it assists the establishment of direct links and mutually
advantageous cooperation with partners from the country and
from abroad; it participates in national and international
unions and organisations; it takes care for avoidance of unloyal
competition among its members; it helps the training and prequalification
of the staff; it enhances its members in the establishment
of trade contacts both in the country and abroad; it is a
party in the process of collective labour agreement in the
branch; it fulfills also other tasks, assigned by the General
assembly or by single members.
Scope of acitvity of the Chamber: to perform research
work, analyses and expert evaluations, to assist the participation
of its members in fairs and exhibitions, as well as to provide
information to its members, to conduct education, qualification
and other activities in compliance with its goals.
